Season 89 · Daily Puzzle Set 1 Solved
Day 4: Royal Rebound – Solution
Quick answer: Wait until both Princes cross the bridge, then drop the Hog Rider on the centre line at the river so it drags both back across and takes the enemy 1 HP tower
What is the puzzle setup?
A Prince is attacking from the left and a Dark Prince from the right. Both of your towers are at 1 HP — a single hit from either fails. The enemy also has a 1 HP tower, so the win condition is taking it while keeping your own towers alive.
How do you solve Royal Rebound?
Diagrams are schematics drawn from the step text — not game screenshots.
Step 1 — Timing is everything
Wait until both the Prince and Dark Prince have crossed the bridge into your territory. Only then are they close enough to be baited by what you place behind them.

Step 2 — Hog Rider placement
Place the Hog Rider on the centre line, exactly at the river. From there it jumps the river and runs at the enemy tower, and its position drags the attention of both Princes.

Step 3 — The kite and counter
Both Princes turn around to chase the Hog Rider back across the river. The Hog Rider reaches the enemy’s 1 HP tower first and takes it for the win — while the Princes never touch your towers.

What are the most common mistakes?
- Placing the Hog Rider too early, so the Princes don’t “see” it and continue to your towers.
- Placing the Hog Rider too late, allowing the Princes to reach your towers first.
Any extra tips?
The Hog Rider is not just for offense; its speed and jump ability make it an excellent kiting tool against single-target or slow melee troops.
