Season 89 · Daily Puzzle Set 1 Solved

Day 2: Kingfisher – Solution

Quick answer: Use the Fisherman to hook the P.E.K.K.A. and drag it toward your King Tower, away from the Princess Tower

What is the puzzle setup?

A P.E.K.K.A. is marching toward your Princess Tower. With your tower at 1 HP, you cannot afford to let her connect. You have only the Fisherman in your hand.

How do you solve Kingfisher?

Diagrams are schematics drawn from the step text — not game screenshots.

Step 1 — Wait for the bridge

Let the P.E.K.K.A. cross the bridge first — the hook only reaches so far, and hooking too early wastes the drag.

Step 2 — Fisherman placement

Place the Fisherman in the centre of your side, but closer to the King Tower. From here his hook reaches the P.E.K.K.A. while she is still far from your 1 HP Princess Tower.

Step 3 — The drag

The Fisherman throws his hook and drags the P.E.K.K.A. towards him — into the range of both Princess Towers and the King Tower. She never reaches the 1 HP tower, and all three towers chip her down.

What are the most common mistakes?

  • Placing the Fisherman too close to the P.E.K.K.A., allowing her to hit him and then move to the tower.
  • Placing the Fisherman too early, before the P.E.K.K.A. is in hook range.

Any extra tips?

Mastering the Fisherman’s hook range is key to kiting heavy hitters like the P.E.K.K.A. or Prince.
